Job Summary:
The Medical Products Sales Representative generates qualified leads and develops a distribution network that will produce new sales opportunities for IsolationAir, Sterile Storage, and HEPAiRx. Manages the entire sales process by fielding/responding to customer inquiries, offering information and assistance, expanding the opportunity when possible, and procuring orders.
Essential Job Duties:
· Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
· Communicate with customers and leads to understand their product needs; identify and recommend products to meet their needs.
· Provides ongoing communication and relationship management to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Develop and maintain a network of distribution partners.
· Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, informing them of new products and/or enhancements that may be of interest.
· Maintains detailed records of sales activities including customer and lead contact, sales, lost business, and any customer relationship issues.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously.
· Mechanical/Technical aptitude and ability to communicate technical information to customers.
· Analytical ability to gather and summarize data, problem solve, and prioritize work.
· Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
· Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and helpful manner in person or via phone or written correspondence.
· Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in meeting sales and revenue goals.
Minimum Qualification Standards:
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
· Five years of applied equipment sales experience required. HVAC, Air Filtration, and/or Medical Equipment sales preferred.
· Must have an interest and curiosity in new technologies.
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
· Valid driver’s license and occasional local, regional, and national travel required.
· Computer Software: Microsoft Office, Infor CSI, and Salesforce.
